Arati Karo Brajanari

1

( refrain ) ārati karo brajanārī le kañcana thāli - ārati
karo brajanārī bhāvanā bhakta
ki jyotī - anamola prema ke moti

(Refrain) O ladies of Braj, taking a golden tray, perform arati! Perform it with the light of your loving mood, with the pearls of priceless love.

2

rasa būndana sauṅ ati bhāri atahi sukumārī
ghanasyāma nanda ke lālā - paharain
pati pīta rasālā sangā sohe bhānudulārī
rādhikā pyārī - ārati karo brajanārī

The drops of rasa are so heavy, yet they make everything so soft. Nanda's son, Ghanasyama, dons yellow cloth that stunningly contrasts His syama color. His beauty is further enhanced by association with the darling daughter of Brsabhanu.

3

kundala chavi mor mukuta kī -
cancala cittavan naṭakhata kī
candrikā camaka rahī nyārī hatāmbara
sārī - ārati karo brajanārī

O ladies, perform arati to the one who is decorated with earrings and peacock feather, who is restless and naughty. And to Radhika whose candrika shines exquisitely and who dons a green sari.

4

siṁhāsana dau birāje - kata koti kāma chavi lāje yaha
rasikan kī fulavari jagat lage bhārī - ārati kao brajanārī

Millions upon millions of Cupids feel ashamed in front of Their beauty as They both sit on Their simhasan. Their beauty is a flower garden for the rasikas who live in this world which is hard and heavy.

5

cirajīvī abhicala jorī - mohana bṛṣabhānu kiśorī yaha
jīvan kuñjabihārī pe jaun balihārī - ārati karo brajanārī

Do arati to the eternal, unchangeable couple - Mohan and Brsabhanu Kisori. Fully dedicating this life to Kunjabihari, O ladies of Braj, perform arati!
