hari hari kobe heno daśā hobe mora;
sevibo doṅhāra pada ānande vibhora
When, overwhelmed with bliss, will I directly serve the lotus feet of the Divine Couple? O Lord Hari, Lord Hari, when will I attain this?
bhramara hoiyā sadā rohibo caraṇe; śrī caraṇā;
mṛta sadā koribo āsvādane
When will I become a bumble-bee staying continually at the lotus feet of the Divine Couple, and continually drinking the honey of Their lotus feet?
ei āśā kori āmi joto sakhīgaṇa
tomāder kṛpāy hoy vāñchita pūraṇa
This is my desire: to join the company of the gopi -friends of the Divine Couple. O my master, by your mercy only can my desire be fulfilled.
bahu dina vāñchā kori pūrṇa jāte
hoy sabe mili doyā koro hoiyā sadoy
For many days I have desired in this way. Please be merciful to me and fulfill my request.
sevā āse narottama kānde divā niśi
kṛpā kori koro more anugata dāsī
Yearning and hoping in this way Narottama dasa weeps day and night. Please be merciful to me, and make me your follower and gopi -maidservant.

When, overwhelmed with bliss, will I directly serve the lotus feet of the Divine Couple? O Lord Hari, Lord Hari, when will I attain this?
