Sri Gaura Nityananda Daya
parama
karuṇa, pahū dui jana nitāi gauracandra saba avatāra-sāra śiromaṇi kevala ānanda-kanda
Word for word
parama karuṇa -supremely merciful; pah dui jana -the two Lords; nitāi gauracandra -Lord Nityānanda and Lord Gauracandra; saba avatāra -of all incarnations; sāra -They are the essence; śiromaṇi -and the crest jewels; kevala ānanda-kanda -exclusive fountains of bliss.
The two Lords, Nitai-Gauracandra, are very merciful. They are the essence of all incarnations. The specific significance of these incarnations is that They introduced a process of chanting and dancing that is simply joyful.
bhajo
bhajo bhāi, caitanya nitāi sudṛḍha biśwāsa kori viṣaya chāḍiyā, se rase majiyā, mukhe bolo hari hari
Word for word
bhajo bhajo -just worship, just worship; bhāi -O brothers!; caitanya nitāi - Lord Caitanya and Nityānanda; sudṛḍha viśvāsa kori ' -with firm faith; viṣaya chāḍiyā -giving up sense gratification; se rase -in that mellow of worship; majiyā -absorbing; mukhe -with your mouth; bolo hari hari - chant Hari! Hari!
My dear brother, I request that you just worship Lord Caitanya and Nityananda with firm conviction and faith. If one wants to be Krsna conscious by this process, one has to give up his engagement in sense gratification. One simply has to chant, "Hare Krsna! Hari Hari!" without any motive.
dekho
ore bhāi, tri-bhuvane nāi, emona doyāla dātā paśu pākhī jhure, pāṣāṇa vidare, śuni' jāṅra guṇa-gāthā
Word for word
dekho -just see; ore bhāi -O dear brothers!; tri- bhuvane -within the three worlds; nāi -there is none; emona -such as these; doyāla dātā -charitable givers of mercy; paśu -even the animals; pakhī -and the birds; jhure - weep; pāṣāṇa vidare -stones melt; śuni ' -upon hearing; jāra -whose; guṇagāthā -glorification of Their qualities.
My dear brother, just try and examine this. Within the three worlds there is no one like Lord Caitanya or Lord Nityananda. Their merciful qualities are so great that upon hearing Them even birds and beasts cry and stones melt.
saṁsāre
majiyā, rohili poriyā, se pade nahilo āśa āpana karama, bhuñjāye śamana, kahoye locana-dāsa
Word for word
saḿsāre majiyā -entrapped in the materialistic sense gratification process; rohili poḍiyā -falling and remaining; se pade -for Their lotus feet; nahilo āśa -you have no aspiration; āpana karama -your own bad karma; bhuñjaye -you are being punished (lit. 'enjoying'); śamana -by Yamarāja, lord of death; kahoye locana-dāsa -thus says Locana dāsa.
But Locana dasa regrets that I am entrapped by sense gratification. Since I have no attraction for the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda, then Yamaraja, the superintendent of death, is punishing me by not allowing me to be attracted by this movement.

Prabhupada commentary
parama karuṅa, pahuṅ dui jana,
nitāi-gauracandra
This is a song sung by Locana dāsa Ṭhākura. Almost a contemporary of Lord Caitanya. So in his appreciation of Lord Nityānanda and Lord Caitanya. He says that, “These two personalities are very merciful incarnation of God.” Parama karuṅa—highest mercy. Pahuṅ dui jana, dui jana means—two personalities and Their names are Nitāi and Gaura. Nitāi-gauracandra. So They are the best of all incarnations. That is also admitted by Rūpa Gosvāmī because Kṛṣṅa when He came. He preached only that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead but He did not give Himself. He was not so much... But in His incarnation as Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu He gave Kṛṣṅa. That is therefore.., Caitanya Mahāprabhu addressed by Rūpa Gosvāmī: namo mahā-vadānyāya [Madhya 19.53]. The most munificent of all incarnations, is giving Himself.
parama karuṅa, pahuṅ dui jana,
nitāi-gauracandra
saba avatāra—, sāra śiromaṅi,
kevala-ānanda-kanda
[Śrī Śrī Gaura Nityānandera Dayā, 1]
And in this incarnation there is no miserable condition. He is delivering everyone simply in transcendental bliss, chanting and dancing. And giving prasādam. In other incarnation He had to take sword and this to kill to deliver the demon. In this avatāra He is delivering all the demons simply by ānanda—transcendental bliss. Kevala-ānanda-kanda. Therefore Locana dāsa Ṭhākura advises: bhaja bhaja bhāi, caitanya-nitāi—you simply worship Lord Caitanya and Nityānanda. Sudṛḍha viśvāsa kori—with firm faith and your life will be successful.
bhaja bhaja bhāi, caitanya-nitāi,
sudṛḍha viśvāsa kori
[Śrī Śrī Gaura Nityānandera Dayā, 2]
With firm faith, “Oh I have taken shelter of Nityānanda and Caitanya Mahāprabhu my life is now successful.” And... But one thing you have to do: viṣaya chāḍiyā se rase majiyā, you have to take shelter of Nityānanda prabhu and Caitanya prabhu without any material desire. Then it will not be very good. Viṣaya chāḍiyā se rase mukhe bolo—and the means and the process is simply chanting Hare Kṛṣṅa. That is.. To take shelter of Gaura-Nityānanda and chant Hare Krishna mantra your life is... That is so nice. Viṣaya chāḍiyā—don’t desire any material enjoyment. Viṣaya chāḍiyā se—simply chant Hare Kṛṣṅa, take shelter. Mukhe bolo.
