Sajani Eta Dina Bangala Dwandwa
Song 34
(Refrain) sajani eta dine bhāṅgala dwandwa kānu
anurāga bhujage garāsala kula-dadurī maru manda
(Refrain) O gopi -friend, on this day my jealous quarrel with Krsna is broken into pieces. The snake of love for Krsna has suddenly devoured the foolish frog of my so-called piety.
hṛdaya mandire mora kānu ghumā-ola prema-praharī rahu jāgi
gurujana paura caura sadṛśa bhela dūrahi dūre rahu bhāgi
In the palace of my heart, Krsna sleeps. Staying awake the whole night, the watchman of love guards Him. Like thieves, my elders and superiors stay far away.
āpanaka carita āpe nāhi samujhiye
āna karite haye āna bhābe
bharala mana parijana bāñcite gṛha-pati sa-patika ṭhāma
I do not understand my own actions. I do one thing and then I do another. My heart is overcome with love. I cheat my kinsmen. I flee from my house and husband.
ninda -u ninda nayane nāhi
heriye nā jāniye kiye bhela āṅkhi
yaba paramāda kaha-i nā-i pāriye gobinda-dāsa eka sāthī
I rebuke them. My eyes will not look on them. Why have my eyes become like that? I do not know. I am overcome. I have no power to speak of it. Govinda dasa, you are my only friend. I tell all this to you.
