dāśarathe raghūdvaha śrī-rāma
he kośalajā-sutābja-dṛk śrī-lakṣmaṇa-jyeṣṭha
hanūmad-īśvara sugrīva-bandho
bharatāgraja prabho
O Lord Ramacandra, O Husband of Sita, O Son of Dasaratha, O chief descendant of the Raghu dynasty, O lotus-eyed Son of Kausalya, O elder brother of Laksmana, O Master of Hanuman, O friend of Sugriva, Oh older brother of Bharata!

daṇḍākaraṇya-carārya-śīla he kodaṇḍa-pāṇe
khara-dūṣaṇāṇtaka baddhābdhi-seto'yi
vibhīṣanāśrita laṅkeśa-ghātin
jaya kośalendra he
O Lord Who performed the activities of a saintly person wandering in the Dandaka forest, O Lord Who holds a bow in His hand, O Killer of the demon Dusana, O Builder of the bridge across the ocean, O shelter of Vibhisana, O Killer of Ravana, the demonic king of Lanka, O Lord of the Kosala province, all glories unto You!
