Varaya Madhava Muda
Volume 6 Song 34
(Refrain) vāraya mādhava-muda-vadanaṅgam
spṛśati yathāyam ́ na sakhi mad- aṅgam
Refrain: Friend, stop this amorous Madhava so He does not get near Me!
kim ayam ́ racayati nayana-taraṅgam
kairaviṇī na hi bhajati pataṅgam
Why does He cast waves from His eyes? The kairava lotus does not worship the sun.
kampi-karān mama patati lavaṅgam
tvam api tathāpi na muñcasi raṅgam
The lavanga flower falls from My trembling hand and still you do not stop this cheerfulness!
kim api sanātana-dharmam abhaṅgam
na parihariṣye hṛdi kṛta-saṅgam
I will not abandon the eternal codes of religion that always stay in My heart!
